April 2020

In response to the unparalleled COVID-19 crisis and its impacts, I have made the difficult decision to close the gallery’s physical space. At the end of April, Georgia Scherman Projects will leave 133 Tecumseth St, Toronto, ON. While I can assure you that there have been no confirmed or reported cases of COVID-19 associated with Georgia Scherman Projects, we are nonetheless committed to doing our utmost to reduce the risk of spreading the virus. And this, in all likelihood, involves our gallery remaining closed to the general public for at least another few months.

All our publicly scheduled events have been postponed until further notice.  Let me emphasize that these changes will not affect the gallery’s commitment to our represented artists and we are already actively engaged in the process of looking for a smaller temporary space to work from until - in happier times - we ultimately find a brand new gallery site.

Until such times, Georgia Scherman Projects will continue to share the work of our artists through its website and encourage visitors to follow our current and future projects online.

Regular updates will be posted with news of our upcoming temporary site and with other new ventures as they develop.

Please feel free to email us regarding our artists and their works.

We do thank for your understanding and we send you our warmest thoughts and brightest hopes.
